Judged by a group of 50 independent industry professionals, the program serves as a way to impartially review products and present them to readers as items their peers deem innovative and worth investigating.
First introduced in November 2013, the Firestone Building Products Enverge Cavity Wall Products portfolio includes: continuous insulation (CI) exterior wall insulation, air & vapor barrier and thru-wall flashing. These individual products work together to improve thermal performance and prevent thermal bridging in commercial buildings.
“At Firestone Building Products, we are focused on innovating systems that lend to superior building performance and we are honored to be recognized by Architectural Products for doing just that,” said Chris Tobias, cavity wall business development manager at Firestone Building Products. “The Enverge portfolio was developed to accommodate flexible building envelope design and provide an industry leading single source assembly solution for the exterior cavity wall that addresses the four main components of the building envelope: thermal, air, moisture and vapor management. With compatibility in mind, it benefits everyone from the architect to the contractor.”The portfolio will be featured in the November issue of Architectural Products along with the year’s most innovative product introductions.
“Building on the success of last year’s program, our fourth edition of the awards proves commercial building manufacturers are committed to, and are working arduously toward, delivering more sustainable products as well as products that deliver better performance, life and affordability,” said Jim Crockett, editorial director for Architectural Products.
